Alright. This is the end of the road. An album a day is too taxing. Instead, I'm opting for 3 albums a week.

I will not be posting this stuff here. A blog isn't well suited for this. Instead, I will operate a website where I will post my reviews.

I may or may not come back here to add a link to that site. Probably not, seeing as this blog has a total of 0 readers anyway.

Silent Hill 4 Limited Soundtrack

...coming soon! Too tired to write about it tonight.

Comfort Eagle by Cake

Comfort Eagle
by Cake

Spoiler: Cake's vocalist's style is either love it or hate it. Fortunately, there's a song on Comfort Eagle called "Arco Arena", which should help get you acquainted to Cake's musical genius before you're assaulted by the vocals.

Listening to this album today was quite an enjoyable experience. Some of the very beginning tracks are a little lackluster, as are some of the final tracks, but most of the songs are above average, and there are no real bad songs on Comfort Eagle. Certainly worthy of purchase. My personal track picks are Arco Arena, Comfort Eagle, and Long Line of Cars.

Track List:
1. Opera Singer
2. Meanwhile, Rick James...
3. Shadow Stabbing
4. Short Skirt/Long Jacket
5. Comissioning a Symphony in C
6. Arco Arena*
7. Comfort Eagle*
8. Long Line of Cars*
9. Love You Madly
10. Pretty Pink Ribbon
11. World of Two

Welcome to Another Day, Another Album

My quest, which I will keep a journal of here, is to listen to a new album every weekday. The album of the day will be the only music I will listen to that entire day, except during my minimal commute (to and from school), due to the fact that I may not have the album on my Zune.

As of right now, I'm inputting a list of 900+ albums into a program I made that'll put them into a random order for me. Every Sunday, I will post the list of albums I shall listen to that week. Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday and Friday, I will post my thoughts on the album I listened to that day.

Why am I doing this? Because I love music. Also, I have so much music on my computer that I really haven't given a good listen to. It's unfair to the artists, really. I download music under the pretense that if I like it, i'll eventually buy it. But if I don't listen to it, how will I ever know if I like it?

Also, I firmly believe that if I try, I can grow to like any music. My musical taste currently is pretty broad, but in most areas, it's not very deep. I want to change that.

Anyway, stay tuned. Tomorrow, I'll post the 5 albums I shall listen to in the upcoming week, and then during the week, I'll deliver my thoughts on those albums.
